The Middle School Parents\u2019 Associations (MSPA) builds community through education. Comprised of parent volunteers, we seek to welcome new families, keep parents informed about what\u2019s happening at the school, provide opportunities to get together, and offer meaningful and relevant programming for the parent community. The Parents’ Association hosts regular speaker events, as well as community and social events throughout the academic year. Please join us at one of our events or volunteer to help!<\/p>\n

MSPA events are always listed and promoted in the Parents’ Association section of the weekly newsletter. Parents will also receive a monthly email from their grade level parent representative focusing on events relevant to that particular grade. Events planned for the school year include the following:<\/p>\n
Welcome Back to School Coffee: <\/strong>for new and returning families (September)<\/p>\n Grade Level Potlucks: <\/strong>To be hosted by a parent from each grade for parents to get together and build community (October)<\/p>\n Fall Parent Social (Grades 6\u20138):<\/strong>\u00a0a grown-up social for Middle School parents held while middle school students attend their own social (October)<\/p>\n Skating Party (Kindergarten\u2013Grade 8):<\/strong>\u00a0a weekend skating party for families (January)<\/p>\n Spring Parent Social (Kindergarten\u2013Grade 8):<\/strong> a fun community event for parents (late spring)<\/p>\n Middle School Faculty Appreciation Reception:<\/strong>\u00a0a \u201cthank you\u201d from the parents for faculty and staff (May)<\/p>\n Guest Speakers<\/strong>: The MSPA brings in speakers for the parent community as part of its core mission statement throughout the school year. Previous speakers have discussed juuling, building resilience in your children, and managing technology.
