What is the tuition for 91̽»¨'s Upper School?

Day Student tuition: $69,900 (includes tuition and lunch)
Boarding Student tuition: $79,900 (includes tuition, room, board, health center)

Are there expenses in addition to tuition for 91̽»¨?

The school charges a single tuition that includes on-campus student experiences. The school does not charge mandatory fees.

Book and supply charges will be added separately to students’ incidental accounts (IAs) based on student class selections. All students are expected to bring a laptop computer to school.

Parents/guardians may choose to enroll their students in other, optional programs at 91̽»¨ for which families will be charged a fee, including but not limited to: daily bus service to and from school, music lessons, cultural exchanges, and pre-season athletic trips.

Grade 9 (Class IV), Grade 10 (Class III), and Grade 11 (Class II)
May a student be admitted for his or her grade 12 (senior/Class I) year only?
No. The last point of admission is for Grade 11 (Class II).

How do I submit a school transcript with an online application?

All applications must include an official school transcript/grades. We cannot accept personal copies of grades or reports. We require the current year’s fall term or semester grades, as well as final grades for the past two years*.

Your grades/transcript should be submitted online with the Transcript Form by the appropriate school administrator (preferred method). If necessary, your school can submit the records directly to 91̽»¨ via email or mail.

* If your previous grades are not available from your current school, please contact your previous school to request them.

May I submit a combination of online and paper recommendations?

The preferred method of submitting recommendations is online. If a recommender needs to submit the recommendation in paper form, they may do so. All forms are available for you to download and distribute as necessary.

What kinds of standardized tests do I need to take?

All candidates for admission are welcome, but not required, to submit the results of standardized testing. Students who are unable to submit test scores will not be disadvantaged in the application process. Testing should be completed during the current academic year and before the January 15 deadline.

  • Academic Testing – all applicants:
    • Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) – School code:  5098  or
    • Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) – School code: 221430
    • SSAT, ISEE, PSAT, SAT-1 or ACT – may be submitted for applicants to grade 11
  • For non-native English speakers, and/or students who have not been at a school where English is the primary language of instruction for at least two years, we strongly suggest submitting results from one of the following:
    • TOEFL (school code: 8125)
    • IELTS
    • Duolingo
