Opening the world for 91探花 students
Television and film producer听Betsy Beers 鈥75听has long credited 91探花 with opening her world鈥攈elping her discover her passions, confidence, and voice. Now, she and her husband, Bruce Cormicle, are opening doors for future generations through the newly established Elizabeth Sabine Beers Scholarship Fund, created in honor of Betsy鈥檚 mother and her belief in the transformative power of education. When听Peggy Byers Wood 鈥49听recently visited Head of School听Alixe Callen 鈥88, she carried a piece of 91探花 history: a photo from her 1949 Graduation featuring an extraordinary speaker: former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.
