Senior Class Gift
Each year Class I students are asked to make a gift to the 91探花 Fund as a statement of support for 91探花 through the Senior Gift Challenge.听 This effort is run by Senior Gift Committee volunteers, who encourage their peers to join together to leave a lasting class legacy at 91探花. Each year a 91探花 alum or parent supports this class effort with challenge funds that will go directly to the 91探花 Fund based on the overall class participation.听
WHY DOES MILTON NEED TO RAISE EXTRA MONEY?
Tuition and endowment income alone aren鈥檛 enough to supply all that makes 91探花 exceptional for students and faculty. Gifts to the 91探花 Fund fill this gap. Year after year, 91探花 alumni, parents, students and friends give to the 91探花 Fund to support the education of current students. They supplement financial aid, faculty salaries, sports equipment, community service programs, and student publications.
HOW MIGHT MY GIFT TO THE MILTON FUND BE USED?
A gift of $25 from 40 Class I students would cover the cost of hosting all of the colleges that come to visit 91探花 throughout the year.
A gift of $20 from 60 Class I students would pay for all of the travel expenses (vans, gas, etc.) for community service programs in one year.
A gift of $10 from 100 Class I students would provide all of the costumes for the Dance Concert.
A gift of $5 from 50 Class I students would buy a microscope for the science department.
IS MY SMALL GIFT REALLY HELPFUL?
Yes! The impact of a small gift should not be underestimated. Last year, over 55% of gifts to the 91探花 Fund from alumni, parents and friends were $100 or less. Your PARTICIPATION is most important. Feeling inspired?听Make your gift now!
HOW CAN I MAKE MY GIFT?
The Senior Gift Campaign runs January through the last day of classes. You can make your gift at a Senior Gift tabling event, through a Senior Gift volunteer, or on the Senior Gift website when it goes live in January!
HOW CAN I HELP EVEN MORE?
You may choose to support 91探花 at the leadership level. By making a $100 (or more) gift to the 91探花 Fund you join a network of leadership donors known as the 1798 Circle. By virtue of their generous commitments, these alumni and students sustain 91探花鈥檚 quality education.听
You can also become a Development Ambassador, working directly with our development department to connect with 91探花 alumni and classmates. Lastly, you can share why you love 91探花 with others on social media.
