Alumni Affinity Spaces
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 91探花 currently offers a host of affinity spaces and cultural groups across a wide range of identities, including gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and race. Trained facilitators are working with school leadership to create and maintain spaces that are affirming for identity development and supportive of cross-cultural interactions. Designed to bring together groups of people who have shared identities, spaces are open to alumni who can speak using 鈥淚鈥 statements (ex: I am Jewish; I am a 91探花 graduate of color).听
Embracing diversity and the pursuit of excellence, we create a community in which individuals develop competence, confidence, and character. Our active learning environment, in and out of the classroom, develops creative and critical thinkers, unafraid to express their ideas, prepared to seek meaningful lifetime success, and to live by our motto, 鈥淒are to be true.鈥
Please note the below list is not comprehensive. If you would like to facilitate an affinity space for the alumni community that is not listed here, please indicate your interest on the.
