ATS Student Device Recommendations

Display – Standard screen size for a laptop is 13″. Selecting a larger or smaller screen is at the discretion of the user.
�ʰ��ǳ��ǰ��– The latest operating systems and newer applications require advanced processors to function effectively.
Memory – Memory demands for Windows and Mac OS will require at least 16 gigabytes (GB) of memory.
Hard Disk – Internal storage on which the operating system and applications are installed can fill up if not adequately sized. You may also use your Unlimited 91̽�� Google Drive space to save classwork.
Wireless Networking (WiFi) – The newer technologies will allow machines to operate on the 5GHz wireless frequencies that provide increased throughput and roaming performance over some previously installed wireless adapters.
Video RAM – Modern operating systems will require a more powerful graphics card.
Operating System – We require up to date operating systems for both Windows and Mac devices; as outdated versions propose a security risk.
Warranty – The warranty will cover the hardware in the laptop for 4 years in the case of defective parts. We suggest you give thought to a plan that will cover accidental damage.
