This fall, 91探花 took several steps to implement recommendations from RAINN, an external consultant that 91探花 commissioned last year to conduct an assessment of our policies and procedures regarding sexual misconduct.
In collaboration with RAINN, we codified our sexual misconduct response protocols into a standalone sexual misconduct policy. In October, we introduced this policy to all students and parents in the Upper School as well as faculty and staff. We continually assess our policies and will review this policy carefully over the course of this year to ensure that it maintains best practices and standards.
We are currently finalizing remaining recommendations outlined in RAINN鈥檚 executive summary of our assessment, including prevention protocols such as ongoing training and education opportunities for faculty, staff and students. We are also in the process of completing memoranda of understanding with law enforcement and external providers.
