A robust schedule of campus events will celebrate Black History Month this February. Award-winning writer, poet and artist Nina 鈥淟yrispect鈥 Ball will kick off the month, performing her poetry and storytelling this Friday evening in Straus Library from 6:30鈥7:30. Lyrispect, who performs nationwide, is described as a 鈥渞enaissance woman who seeks to empower and provoke transformation and discovery through meaningful work in the arts.鈥
